About
Giacomo Susani’s work both in the field of performance and of composition places him into a unique and versatile role in the world of music. His interest in exploring the creative possibilities of his instrument allowed him to develop a personal approach to interpretation and composition that is met with enthusiasm internationally.
He is the winner of several prestigious awards, such as the New York Respighi Prize in Composition (2022) and the London International Guitar Competition (2016) . As the winner of the Julian Bream Trust Scholarship he had the privilege to work closely with Julian Bream for 4 continuous years. His music is performed all around the world, by such artists the Chamber Orchestra of New York, the Takács Quartet, guitarists David Russell, Stefano Grondona and Jason Vieaux.
Giacomo enjoys an international concert career and is artistic director of the International Guitar Festival Homenaje at Barco Teatro in Padova, Italy.
